We will go into the historic center where if possible we can admire the rock church of Santa Maria del Soccorso. We will then reach the Cathedral of Maria Santissima della Madia, inside which there is an ancient Marian icon that protected the city, highly venerated by the monopolies and which takes its name from the Madonna della Madia. Not far from the Cathedral there is the Church of Purgatory which houses the mummies of the ancients belonging to a religious brotherhood. Walking along the ancient city walls we will reach the castle and immediately we will be back on the harbor.
