Interest
Casaranello is a fraction of Casarano, a small town south of Lecce. There is practically nothing apart from the Church of Santa Maria della Croce, which externally seen is nothing special, but the interior is extraordinary. The vault is covered with brightly colored mosaics. It is something unique in the Apulian art scene. Recommended for art lovers.
