Although Foggia is a city of ancient origins, particularly important in the Federician era, today there is not much left of the glorious past. To remember the great Swabian emperor there is only an arch incorporated into a much more recent palace. The historic center is certainly not among the most beautiful in Puglia because of the bombings suffered during the Second World War. Even the famous sanctuary of the Incoronata is certainly not an architectural jewel. Do you want an advice? Better to go elsewhere, for example in Manfredonia or Lucera.
The guide service takes less than half a day.
